Castle Rock Farm is located in Penryn, California. It was owned by Jud, Francis and their son Skip Wright. Castle Rock Farm was a wonderful place to ride, show and learn about horses. As you can see from the horse show prize lists, the news paper articles, and photos, we were a very active group. In the later years, Jud schooled Clay every year when we stopped with the horses on our way to Indio, California. The Jacksons and Wrights remained friends over the last 40+ years until we lost Jud Wright last August 2006. Nancy Durham kindly gave us many mementos when Jud passed. Shelley (Quackenbush) Jackson as a teenager in the 1960s was trained and showed Hunters under Skip Wright.
